Seinfeld brings old cars to new media
In the 14 years since Jerry Seinfeld's show retired, the American comedian has only made occasional guest appearances on television. With all that time off from episodic video, you had to figure that his creative juices were flowing. Your funny bone can now rejoice- Jerry is back, and as his pal Larry David says in episode 1, "You finally made a show about nothing".

We beg to differ. If watching videos of classic cars qualifies as doing nothing, then our bosses would have fired us by now. "Comedians in Cars Getting Coffee" is not only the most accurately titled show you'll see, but also a very entertaining way to spend 15 minutes. You won't find this program in prime time from on your favorite motorsports channel, though. The ever-innovative Seinfeld is making his latest effort web-exclusive by launching on "Crackle", Sony's online video portal. The program is available free of charge, and is viewable on your desktop, notebook, tablet, iOS, or Android smartphone.
The first episode features Seinfield's pal Larry David, a trip for coffee, and a ride in a Volkswagen Beetle. We're looking forward to appearances from many more friends of Jerry in the coming weeks, as Michael Richards, Alec Baldwin, and Ricky Gervais all will share some java and a cool ride.
New programs are scheduled to be released every other Thursday evening. The show premiered on July 19. Are you as excited as we are? Let us know in the comment area below.
