Type "AC Ace for sale" into your favorite search engine and you'll quickly be overwhelmed by replicas, chopped up 'dream' cars and other cobbled-together creations badged as an AC.  While the Shelby Cobras and replicas deserve respect, we have been in search of an original for your review.   After sifting through all the of the interesting "Aces" out there, we located a beautiful 1957 AC Ace Bristol listed on eBay Motors. Still propelled by the original Bristol 2.0 litre six, this Ace is the real deal.

Chassis # and all ownership documents have car registered as a 1957 model.  Making ths car eligible for all Classic Rallye or Tour events.  This AC is late 1959 AC with desirable Bristol upgrades including late "D" Spec motor, increase from 100hp to 120hp. Top speed went from 102 to 116 mph.  This car also has the later spec. full-synchro gearbox with the desirable electric overdrive and Front Disc Brakes. With the engine set well back in the chassis, the Ace was known for its great handling and was very successful in competition.
