1967 Alfa Romeo Duetto - For Sale in San Fran
Have you been craving a red Italian sports car? Crave no more, we've found a real nice 1967 Duetto that is meant for driving. You can see the full listing here on on Hemmings Classifieds. This Duetto looks to be in superb condition as evidenced by the photos taken from almost every angle around (and under) the car.
The current owner of this car clearly loved it and it shows. The car has been described as mostly original, however several parts have been replaced due to the usual issues such as wear-and-tear. And, let's not forget the dreaded rust problems (new floor pans are installed). Here's a snippet of the listing to stoke your sports car fire:
"This was the last car penned by the master coach builder Battista Pininfarina. An iconic design which would continue until production of Alfa Spiders ended in 1994. The Duetto, or Roundtail was produced for only two years. Built on the Giula 105 chassis, the Duetto was far ahead of its time in 1966 when it was introduced as it incorporated front and rear crumple zones, all alloy twin cam motor, 5 speed transmission and four wheel disc brakes. Only 6,325 of these cars were produced. This very original example has had both floor panels replaced but the rest of the body was rust free and not in need of any repair." (courtesy of Hemmings)
