Nearly Perfect 1966 220SE
Every so often you find a classic car who's age, colors, condition, and overall personality draw you in. While looking for this week's 'Mercedes for sale', we stumbled across this very nice 220SE listed here on Classiccars.com. Go have a look! For some reason, these old Mercedes wear this particular shade of beige really well. When combined with darker leather, wood, and canvas, these cars become a real classy example of luxury motoring. Based on the write-up, the seller is in love with the colors too.
This car offers a fuel injected 6-cylinder fitted to a four-speed auto. To make driving a pleasure on those hot summer days, you can put up the top and turn on some vintage air-conditioning. Power steering and power brakes undoubtedly make this car easier to handle than others of the same age. (Remember, in 1966 power anything was an option you had to pay for.) In true Mercedes-Benz fashion, this car came with a comprehensive set of manuals and tools. Thankfully, this car still has both. It's great to see cars like this still around. They aren't the performance or muscle cars that the 60's were famous for, but they are a major part of our history nonetheless.
